What is Invisalign ®?
- Invisalign ® is way to straighten your teeth without the use of traditional braces.
- Invisalign ® uses a series of removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets.

How Does Invisalign ® Work?
- You wear each of your custom-made aligners for roughly 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
- Each aligner is designed to move certain teeth into its correct position. By the time you finish wearing your last aligner, your teeth should all be in their proper place.
- You'll visit the Dr. Riz’s Orthodontics at Davis Square about once every 6 weeks for a checkup to determine if your treatment is going as scheduled. Total treatment time averages 9 to 15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30.
